Register for 2021 Illinois Statewide Transition Conference

Registration is now open for the 16th Annual Illinois Statewide Transition Conference, Nov. 4-5. This year's conference, “Stepping Stones of Transition,” invites participants to imagine the possibilities for students with disabilities in the areas of independent living, education, and training, employment, community integration, health care, and self-advocacy. Conference sessions are organized into four tracks: Education, Health, Community, and Employment. ICTW staff members Stacy Dymond, David Strauser, Nicole Birri, and Stephen Kwiatek are among this year's conference session speakers.
The Illinois Statewide Transition Conference is open to transition-aged youth and young adults with disabilities, their family members and teachers, vocational professionals, caregivers, health care professionals, college students pursuing careers in special education, resident physicians, and community advocates. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's conference will be held both virtually and in-person at the Embassy Suites by Hilton East Peoria Riverfront Hotel & Conference Center in Peoria, Illinois.
