Steps
Step 1: A team of school/program personnel identify a project, obtain administrative approval, complete a TTA Application, and upload the application to the ICTW website.
Step 2: ICTW staff review the application to determine if it meets the following criteria:
- Focuses on preparing students with extensive support needs (i.e., intellectual disability, autism, multiple disabilities) for employment
- Supports substantive programmatic changes
- Demonstrates administrative support and team commitment
Step 3: ICTW staff meet with the applicant to learn more about their proposed project and develop an action plan that defines:
- the steps to achieving the applicant’s goals,
- the roles and responsibilities of both the ICTW and the applicant, and
- the types of assistance to be provided by the ICTW.
