Cost is $40/person and registration is required. Space is limited.
All cancellations must be requested in writing on or before the event registration deadline, to receive a refund less 15% service charge. No refunds will be granted after the event's registration deadline date. If you do not cancel by the workshop deadline, you will still be responsible for payment—even if you do not attend. Vocational assessment doesn’t have to be overwhelming! Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, participants will explore how to build a comprehensive, student-centered vocational assessment strategy using a wide range of low- to no-cost tools. Learn about various interest and skill-based vocational assessments, strategies for selecting meaningful assessments for students with varying abilities, and most importantly, what to do with the data you collect. Designed for special educators and related service personnel, this interactive workshop will help you identify a clearer path for helping students ages 14-22 set and achieve their employment goals.

This interactive session gives participants practical tools to strengthen interagency collaboration in supporting students with disabilities on their path to employment. Attendees will learn about interagency collaboration requirements and ways to build stronger relationships with outside agencies such as vocational rehabilitation, developmental disability services, workforce boards, and community organizations. The session will highlight key team roles, effective communication methods, and strategies to create a sustainable, coordinated process for a successful transition from school to work.
