ICTW Symposium

April 23-24, 2026  |  I Hotel & Illinois Conference Center

The ICTW Symposium focuses on career development and transition to work for students with disabilities, with particular focus on students with extensive support needs. The symposium is designed for special education and rehabilitation professionals (e.g., practitioners, administrators, counselors, related services personnel) who are interested in supporting students to obtain competitive integrated employment. Through a variety of keynote and breakout sessions, participants will learn about current research, practice, and policy specific to preparing students for employment. Join us for this upcoming symposium and network with professionals across the state who are actively engaged in improving employment outcomes for students with disabilities.

  • Educators are eligible to earn up to 8.5 ISBE-approved Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for attending instructional sessions during the ICTW Symposium.
  • Certified Rehabilitation Counselors interested in reporting their ICTW Symposium instructional sessions for Continuing Education hours can follow the post-approval process outlined by the Council on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). The ICTW will provide a session attendance recording form to aid in this process.

The 2026 ICTW Symposium will be held at the I Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1900 S 1st St, Champaign, IL 61820. For attendees who wish to stay at the conference venue, a reduced room rate has been arranged and is available through the Lodging page below.
